Rope bags and baskets
Inspired by a basket maker in London,
I recently started making rope bags and baskets - I was hooked after the first one!
So fun to make, and then to embellish them with beads, pearls and hand-dyed silk ribbon.
And of course, fun to use!
Various styles and sizes, prices vary from $15 for small plain baskets, to $45 for larger embellished ones.
Bags will be made to order, prices ranging from $45 to $75
and... wire trees
after seeing the exquisite Ruth Asawa exhibit at the MoMA I wanted to try to make a tree out of wire.
So fun - and now I have a small forest, including a little Christmas tree with 'lights'
They are about 20cm high, either made out of 48 or 96 strands or 26 gauge wire.
